Approve Registration/Sign Up – Add explaining text

  • Thank you so much for such a great plugin!

    Have 2 questions:

    1. Is it possible to have the registration form approved?

    We just want the full form, users/members can not go in with a link to change/update their info.
    But before all the info is posted online, we would like to check it and approve.

    2. Adding Explanatory Text
    to the sign up form. Have looked everywhere but there seems to be no chance I could just add some simple text?

    This explains how to set up an approval system: Approving Records

    For adding explanatory text, you have a several options. One is to use field groups in your form using the “Show Field Groups” setting under the Signup tab. Groups can have descriptions, which you can use to explain things about the fields in that group. Group descriptions are defined on the Manage Database Fields page under the “Field Groups” tab.

    Also, you can use the field “Help Text” to explain things about an individual field.

    Another option is to use a custom template to add whatever HTML you want to the form.

    And of course, you can always add your explanation to the page where your signup shortcode is.

    Thank you @xnau that worked!

    Now I need to filter two fields but somehow I can not get it right.

    [pdb_list filter=’approved=yes’ ‘need_overnight=yes’]

    Tried various but nothing seems to work.

    Also need a way to show the ‘responsive’ template if a phone is used. Not sure if that is possible. Will go and do some research.

    Love the plugin a lot!
