Approve Pingbacks but not Comments?

My blog receives almost no spam comments, but a great deal of spam pingbacks. I don’t want to have to start manually approving every comment we get, but genuine pingbacks (which I do want) are rare enough that I wouldn’t mind moderating those separately–however, it seems that I either have to allow both or moderate both. Is there are way to only require approval for pings?
