Appropriate theme for my site

Hi there,

I am a new WP user. But so far am loving it. I am trying to set up a website for our IT related business so i started off with a few free word press themes and finally settled with Oxygen theme by AlienWP. Am a little stuck with the slider but found some other options around it.

Because i feel i have done a not too bad job with a free WP theme i am keen to explore using a paid WP theme now. As i realised the options with a paid one are far greater.

The website i am setting up is for my husband who is in IT and works for himself. We wish to showcase the services he offers and he has some big names he has worked for. So we want a very professional looking website which gives a feel of a large professional corporation. We want a modern feel as well. Would like to keep in line with the latest website design trends.

I am hoping for some recommendations. I have found The7 by themeforest so far very appealing. I wonder if anyone out there would have other recommendations based on your own experiences as to which are the good and user friendly paid WP themes i could use?
