• My apologies if this is a stupid question…but before just messing with it on my own I thought I’d ask if this plugin would be appropriate for a “pick ’em” game like is done in the US for NFL games – the sort of thing done on CBS, ESPN, etc.

Basically, you setup the 16 (or whatever) games each week, and people pick who they think will win each game, and enter a score for use as a tie-breaker…then the system would automatically figure out who won that week’s game.

Granted that we’d have to create all the game matchups each week, and manually fill in the scores/results of each game before it could calculate the winner…is that basically what this plugin would do?

Or am I barking up the wrong tree? ??

Hi, the plugin is based on matches where the players predict the end result for each game. An editor fills in the final result in the admin and then the plugin will calculate the ranking for all players based on some settings for the scores.

A pick ’em style is not supported out-of-the-box and I am not familiar with the tie-breaker, so hard to say if my plugin would work for you.

You can simply install the plugin and create one or two matches in the admin and try it. It won’t take too much time to give it a try.
