After posting a new article this morning, I noticed that the YouTube video that I had embedded would not play, nor would its thumbnail display. Only the YouTube play button appear on the post page. I used troubleshooting mode to isolate PowerKit as the (apparent/possible) point of conflict with the plugin that I used to display videos, ARVE Pro. I did try to roll back the PowerKit plugin as far as version 2.6.4.1, but without success. Currently, PowerKit is uninstalled, so that I can maintain video functionality. (I will try to roll back PowerKit to an even earlier version later today, if I can find the time.) Again, it seems as if these two plugins, rather than the theme, is the point of conflict. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I have now activated PowerKit again and the behavior that I mention above can be seen at the url that I included the other day. Actually, right now, the video will play and the play button also appears, only the thumbnail will not display, flashing for just a moment when the post is refreshed and then disappearing.

Again, any help will be appreciated.

Hello again. I know that you are busy, but I wonder if you have any ideas as to the cause of this behavior. Your help/comments are appreciated.

I think that I have now isolated the cause of the conflict between PowerKit and ARVE. It appears to be the Pinterest module in the PowerKit plugin. The problem I described above is resolved when I disable/inactivate the Pinterest module, leaving all others active. Is there something can be done to address this conflict? The Pinterest module is not necessary for the website to run, but I would like this functionality available. Thank you.

While troubleshooting, this problem only arose when PowerKit was enabled. That said, I now think that the problem is not PowerKit at all, but rather the way that two different cache/optimization programs affected the video display that I mentioned. I reconfigured one of the optimizations plugins, and all seems to be working properly again. Apparently, I had duplicated some services with the cache/optimization plugins, and this was somehow showing up in the PowerKit install. Regardless, everything is working fine now and I do not think ARVE or PowerKit is the problem. Thank you.
