It seems like everytime I just try to login to the site I have a re-direct that pointed me to Appprices.com

I cannot find it anywhere, I deleted the .htaccess file information that had that URL in it, but cannot locate it in the WP-ADMIN folder anywhere, yet the stupid thing still redirects when in the admin panel whenever I want to add media, or update a post, it re-directs. Anyone have this stupid maleware issue?

Have you tried:

– switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

IT will not even let me rename the folder.

I think I figured it out. Somehow, a Default.php file is getting put back into my main HTTP folder along with a modified .htaccess file. ? Weird!

Found it! The Plug in Akismet was injecting code!
