Applying wp_title hook only in posts

  • Hi guys,

    I have a small problem: I use the wp_title hook to add a “[NEW:]” in front of the post titles, when a post was published after the last visit of a user. My problem is that this “[NEW:]” also appears in the recent posts widget and even the rss feed. Is there a way to make this only show up in the post titles themselves e.g. by using a different hook or some conditional tags?

    Any help is highly appreciated as I am just not getting it at the moment (maybe I just need some sleep… ^^).
