apply tax when ID start with number 2

    Can anyone help me making a snippet code for this?

    I want to make an ID field with this scenario: if client ID starts with number 1, then he can buy without tax, if it starts with number 2, then tax applied.

    I need someone help me with some php code or something.

    I noticed something weird

    the code you provide me can remove Tax from total, and that’s good, that what I want, but when I choose Credit Card and moved to the payments gateway page, the total shows in full with Tax. I think the provided code need something more, cause woocommerce now hide tax for user but it still calculated in the background when passing it to payment gateway.
