• Hey Fellow WPs,

I have what seems like a common question but I couldn’t find a single answer anywhere. I have a specific set of options I use in my wordpress installations. Things like update servers, default catagories, permalinks, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary.

All my domains install wordpress via fantastico so its quite easy to install. Up till now every time I install wordpress I have go into the admin panel and adjust the settings I want to change. This takes a good few minutes to do. Multiply that by 10-15 blogs and you can see my delima.

Is there a SIMPLE way to get these setting applied to LOTS of wordpress installations which are unrelated to each other.

Well, just to let everyone know there is a simple way to apply multiple settings to blogs, all you have to do is edit the install.php, and write the correct values into the database where the settings are.

The only thing I’ve found that will do what you are asking is: https://tinyurl.com/7bxdf

It allows you to set up a profile, using selected plugins, and themes, then apply the profile across many wordpress installations.
