Apply Rule When Using a Coupon

This really a wonderful plug that has many useful features.

I have created a rule of buy x get y free, it is working wonderfully as set and when someone adds 2 of the same product it adds the 3rd for free.

What I want to do is NOT to add it to the card automatically, but only when the buyer uses a coupon it applies the rule to the cart.

I looked and tried to do this, but could not find it if possible. Would you help me in this?
