Apply NP to Filtered Taxonomy Views?

Hi, I have a custom post type with several custom taxonomies set up as an online periodical magazine of sorts, organised by edition. Edition is one such of those custom taxonomies, and it would be useful to be able to use NP within a filtered view of posts allocated to a specific Edition, if that makes sense.

Currently, the Sort View shows me all posts across all editions, when I want to be able to limit that to show only posts in a specific Edition (normally accessed by clicking the “count” figure in the taxonomy listing page), and use NP within that view.
