Apply form is different than in Demo

  • Hi,

    on the bottom of a job page there is a button Apply. I’m not able to make it work the same way it works in Demo.

    In Live Demo (https://rarathemes.com/previews/?theme=jobscout) there is an application form with fields like email, name.

    After installing Job Scout and importing Demo (using Rara One Click Demo Import plugin) there’s only: “To apply for this job email your details to [email protected]” and I can only change the email, not the form.

    I’d like to have the full form (like it’s in Demo), preferably with customizable fields (a file upload would be great here).

    Is there any way I can achieve it?

    I will answer myself, hope it will help someone:

    1. You can use WP Job Manager Application plugin, which costs $39 yearly. Than problem is solved. You probably can have some other perks with it.

    or

    2. You can download Contact Form 7 plugin (for free), create an application form and paste a shortcode to each job offer. Each application will be sent to a given email. It’s best option if you don’t operate on big scale (if so, go with first option).

    Anyway, to have the post a job perform as shown on the demo, first you need to install and activate Contact Form 7 and Contact Listing for WP Job Manager plugin.

    After activating both the plugins, you can see Contact a Job Form on the Job Listings > Settings > Job Listings > Contact a Job Form. Check here.

    And you create a form as you would like via the Contact Form 7 plugin and select the above option.
