Apply coupon code redirect to home page

Hi
On my woocommerce webshop, I have collected basket and checkout on the same page.
For that, I have followed this guide:https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-cart-checkout-same-page/
Everything works as it should. However, the coupon code field no longer works. I can not figure out to add AJAX so the page does not reload, so therefore reloads the page, and redirect to the home page.
Anyone know how I can solve this problem?
