Apply bulk discounts to wholesale prices

I have set the discounts but they are not working. I have set fixed prices for wholesale. What we need is that discount applies to that fixed wholesale price and NOT retail price. How could I add different products to a certain “group” or “category” and apply percentage discount by quantity accumulated for that group to all products of that “group”. Should it be set at product level?

Hi @vapemex , I’m not sure if this is what you are asking:

First, you would create different product categories (“groups”) for the products — listed in Products > Categories, or on the right side in an individual product page.

Then if you go to Product>Categories>”Edit” on whichever one you want, there will be a wholesale section where you can put in the discount for products in that category. You can also do a discount based on quantity purchased here too.

Sorry I wasnt very clear.

I think you got my point. What I need is to offer discounts bases on quantity per brand and category. Ie. If we have Nike shirts, and my wholesale customer meets a quantity, like 50 pieces, then I will apply an additional discount to their current wholesale price. What I know is that price based on category and quantity discounts from “retail price” or normal price, the standard field to upload the price at Woocommerce.

Ye, for a product category quantity-based discount, it’ll calculate discount based on the retail price. So I’ll suggest make an adjustment to your percentage value.

For example:

Product A Regular Price: $10
Your base wholesale percentage discount is: 20%

So Wholesale Price for Product A is $8

If you’re aiming to give a further 10% discount of $8 or equal to $7.2, it’s the same as if you’re giving a 28% of the $10.

The main issue is that retail price is in mexican pesos (MXN) but wholesale price is US Dollars. So retail price does not change but wholesale changes depending on currency rate.

How could we apply discount to current wholesale price based on quantity?

Hey @fauzanade , so is not possible to apply discounts based on quantity to wholesale level/roles prices once we set fixed prices for each level? Its s must and one of the main reasons we acquired Wholesale Business Suite.
