    Dear Support Team,

a client of mine just informed me that his coupon is not automatically applying when logged in and the criterias are matched. I checked it with my own account and it is true.

Is this a bug? I did not change any settings.

  • Its the same for me.
Most coupon dont apply anymore automatically.
    Cant find a pattern somehow.

But it seems to be an issue, until lately all worked fine.

Also a BIG problem for me! I hope the developers will fix this soon.

    Hi @kurtberlin,

Greetings from WebToffee! Thanks for reaching out to us.
We understand that some users are having trouble with the Apply coupon automatically functionality. During our tests on our local sites, we didn’t encounter any issues with this option.
However, upon a closer inspection, we have noticed that some users have activated more than 5 coupons on their website, which was causing this issue.

By default, the auto-apply option is limited to 5 coupons. Please refer to this thread to know why it is implemented as such and how to implement a workaround.
Please check with that workaround and let us know how it goes.

    Dear @webtoffee Team,

thank you for your reply. Unfortunately this wasn’t the solution. I had 8 automatically applied coupons activated before and they all worked fine. Also I tried the custom code to increse the limit to 10 – didn’t solve it either…

It’s really frustrating. I thought about buying your pro version too in order to use coupons linked to products but I need a reliable solution first. Do you know any other cause for this?

    Hi @kurtberlin,

We are sorry to hear that the issue is not resolved. In order to get a better understanding of the problem, we would like to test it on our demo site. Could you please share the screenshots and your WooCommerce System status report (WooCommerce -> Status -> Get system status report) with us through this link mentioning this WordPress thread?

    Hi @kurtberlin,

Thanks for sharing the screenshots and the system status report. It was definitely helpful. We will look into the matter with the highest priority.

Having the same problem on a client’s site – my client only has 4 coupons, so the limit of 5 is definitely not the (only) issue.

    Hi @awesomeflyingdude,

We are currently testing a new workflow for the auto-apply coupons, after which the auto-apply functionality will be more optimised. The development is already complete and will be implemented in the upcoming release of the plugin. We are confident that the existing issues with auto-apply & its limitations will be resolved with this update.

If you need any quick assistance with the plugin, please let us know.

Just let you know we have same issue. it happened sometimes not all order. Maybe somedays one order not working. I have only 2 counpons enable. Hope it will be sorted soon.

    Hi @songyen,

If the issue is related to the auto-apply functionality of the plugin, it will be resolved in the next update. If the problem persists, you may create a new topic by sharing screenshots of the coupon edit pages (all tabs).
