    Hi hubmacfan,

What does an application-specific password mean in this context? Usually, it’s used to mean a password for an application which can’t use a token-based authentication flow (like OAuth), to overcome that deficiency. But in the context of a TFA plugin, there is no token-based flow, so it’s not clear what you’re intending?

I upload photos to my WordPress site via an application on my computer. That application uses my username and password to gain access to the media library for the upload. Other TFA-plugins I’ve used create app-specific passwords so this can be done without me manually entering the TFA code each time I use this app.

What method is the application using to connect? XMLRPC? There’s an option in the plugin settings to allow applications to connect over XMLRPC without a TFA code.

Hi @hubmacfan you can use wp2sv plugin it support application password
