The website has a password: asecret!

Hi there, ApplePay button is not showing. Searching I found in some cases it shows only on Private windows and that’s my case.

Can you please take a look at why is this happening. I have already contacted Stripe support and everything is well configured there.

I need a hand with this,

    Thank you.

Hi @dmeijide – Can you navigate to https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/apple_pay and ensure that the URL there matches the exact URL of your site? Specifically, ensure that there is not a www at the beginning of the URL set in Stripe.

I have the same problem. I posted more debug info over here:

@jricketts4 I checked the dashboard link and the host name is a match.
It’s just a hostname, not a URL but it’s the correct FQDN for my site.

    Hi Joey –

Thank you so much for your quick answer. Yes, I already tried to add manually the URL without www as I saw that on other posts but it didn’t work. What I see is when I added the URL it automatically ads itself the domain with the www. When I go to the domains I see both of them, see the screenshot:

    Thank you.

Please, guys. I really need a hand on this. Check the screenshot to see the domains are okay. And if so, just let me know what’s the next step.

    Thank you.

    Hi @dmeijide

It looks like you’re not longer using our Stripe plugin on the site so I will mark this ticket as Resolved for now.

I’m sorry we didn’t get back to you in time to resolve this for you to keep using our plugin.

    Thanks,

    Hi @dmeijide,

In my case, this was fixed by going to the https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payments/apple_pay Stripe Dashboard for Apple Pay, deleting my site, re-adding my site, and re-downloading the .well-known file into the document root of the site.

Something obviously went wrong with the initial registration, despite the Stripe dashboard showing that my site was properly connected. The fact that Apple Pay worked in private browser, means it was somewhat okay from the start. The fact that replacing the registration fixed it does seem to point to point to a problem with the original registration.
