    HI @voodoochill

but in my store the order just shows as pending

This is correct, only orders which have products that are virtual AND download will automatically be marked as completed.

You can view more details about order status’ here – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-orders/

If orders are marked as Processing, and you can see the successful payment charge linked in the order, everything is working as expected.

    Thanks,

I don’t understand. Pending is not Processing.

The article you linked to mentions:

Pending payment – Order received (unpaid)

I’m not expecting them to be completed, just be processing like with other (non-Applepay) payments via Stripe or Paypal which go to processing and I see the payment in my Stripe account.

So if with Applepay they are pending instead of processing, how long does it take to get the money.

    Hi @voodoochill

I don’t understand. Pending is not Processing.

Ah, so sorry, you did type Pending.

I think we need to dig into this a bit deeper. In the meantime, can you enable logging if you haven’t already, please?

Can I ask you to open a ticket or live chat via WooCommerce.com – https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/ – and mention this thread, please?

If you’re unable to select Stripe from the WooCommerce Extensions submenu, please purchase the extension for free at https://www.woocommerce.com/products/stripe/

If orders are going to Pending via Apple Pay then something isn’t telling your site the payment was successful.

    Thanks,

Where do you mean to enable logging? What am I logging?

    Hey @voodoochill

In the main Stripe extension settings, there is this at the bottom:

    Logging: Log debug messages

Please check that box and save the settings. If possible, make an order via Apple Pay after that box is checked so that some details are logged about the order.

    Thanks,

    Hey @voodoochill

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

I just tested again and get the message on the cart page:

We couldn’t confirm your location Please manually validate it.

    And the payment fails.

So I go the checkout page to put in my location, and there is no Applepay button

NB: logging was enabled as suggested.

OK, I can confirm that this works now, but only if I disable Woocommerce taxamo extension

    https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-taxamo/

It seems to not find a location and shows that error notice in the post above. This happens whether it’s a physical or virtual product.

The Taxamo manual validation is done on the checkout page, not the cart page where the Applepay button is showing, so it seems the two Woocommerece extensions have a conflict.
