    Hi,

Really appreciate your plugin which I use instead of the very buggy official Woocommerce offering for Stripe.

    A quick question for you:

Does this plugin support the terms and conditions checkbox (required) when using Apple or Google pay (or other browser gateways)?

I have it set up to not show the express checkout option, but only to add it as a payment option below the credit/debit card options on the checkout page.

Can you confirm that it will work, as in that if the Terms and Conditions tick box is not ticked that it won’t just process the order and payment if Apple, Google or Browser Payments are used instead of the Credit/Debit card option?

I look forward to your reply.

    Regards,
    Martin

The payment won’t just process. What happens is after the GPay or Apple Pay wallet closes, a validation is performed to ensure the terms and conditions are checked. If they are not, the customer is notified. After they check the terms and conditions, they can just click Place Order and proceed with the checkout.

@hamadgill Please read through this thread where I explain in detail how this process works. The payment does not go through until all required fields have values.

Just because the Apple/Gpay button can be clicked, does not mean the payment goes through. You can test this for yourself. Notice how the Place Order button appears and once you click the terms checkbox, you can then just click place order and the checkout process continues.

    Thanks,

Can you define what “it goes through” means to you? Are you saying the checkout processed and you’re redirected to the thank you page?

Because it’s impossible with standard WooCommerce that an order is processed if you have a terms and conditions checkbox and it’s required and not checked. The only way that could happen is if you have some plugin or code that’s altering the WooCommerce validation logic.

The Stripe plugin has nothing to do with the the WooCommerce validations that are run when the checkout fields are being validated server side.
