Apple Pay not showing up despite being enabled

We’ve enabled Apple Pay on our website, but it doesn’t show up in the Payment options at checkout.
I found various other topics with the same problem, but none of the fixes mentioned there work for me:
*) “Display logo on checkout page” is enabled.
*) The Credit Card payment option is enabled.
*) I used an iPad with Touch ID enabled.
*) All supported countries are enabled for both Apple Pay and Credit Card.Not sure what else I could be doing wrong.
I’m also fairly certain that Apple Pay used to show up on the checkout page (on all devices, not just Apple ones) until just recently. Was there an update that could have broken it?
