• Hi ,

I’m having a problem when using Apple Pay payments with the “Pay with Apple Pay” button on product pages. I get the error message “Update Shipping Address” with an exclamation mark and it doesn’t let me go through the payment process. I tried changing the addresses, even on other countries but it still doesn’t work.

It is working well when I am keeping the product as virtual but it gives error for physcial product. I’m using free plugin “Cities Shipping Zones for WooCommerce“.

Please reply as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @pvashisht

The Stripe plugin uses standard WooCommerce functionality when calculating shipping methods etc. If you’re certain you have configured shipping zones for the addresses you’re testing, then the issue is likely that your shipping plugin isn’t returning shipping methods when the request is coming from a wallet based payment method.

I recommend you temporarily disable Cities Shipping Zones for WooCommerce and try testing the shipping functionality on your site.

    Kind Regards

Thank you for your response. I understand that the issue might be due to the shipping zones plugin. However, I would like to retain this plugin to manage shipping zones. Is there a way to resolve the issue while keeping the plugin?

    Hi, Any update for me?

This is not a Stripe plugin issue from what I can tell. Your shipping plugin appears to be converting the billing_state field into a list of cities for the given billing_country. These values have no meaning in WooCommerce when it comes to calculating shipping options for a given address.

If a customer were to select an Address in Apple Pay that contains the state TX, it shouldn’t map to some value like US1005102004. WooCommerce uses the two character abbreviation for states when performing shipping calculations.

    Kind Regards,
