• Hi everyone,

thanks for the plugin it is amazing.

I’m having a problem when using Apple Pay payments with the “Pay with Apple Pay” button on product pages. I get the error message “Update Shipping Address” with an exclamation mark and it doesn’t let me go through the payment process. I tried changing the addresses, even on other countries but it still doesn’t work.

I have weight based shipping plugin enabled which manages shipping to Italy, while UPS Live Tracking for rest of the EU, if can be of help. I’ve tried disabling them and nothing changes, however.

Actually, I tried disabling each and every plugin in my website (with woo commerce and payments gateways as exception), but didn’t solve.

What could be wrong? Could you please help me? I tried also re-registering my domain through settings, and on the stripe dashboard it appears as enabled.

Previously, I had the official WooCommerce Stripe Gateway and ApplePay was working correctly, computing also the correct shipping costs. But I don’t want to go back because I’m thinking of enabling Klarna.

    Thanks for the support!

    Hi @mkexc

What could be wrong? Could you please help me??I tried also re-registering my domain through settings, and on the stripe dashboard it appears as enabled.

We see this issue occasionally and it’s usually caused by the 3rd party shipping plugin. Many of these 3rd party shipping plugins will only calculate the shipping correctly when they’re called a certain way. This isn’t being caused by a domain registration issue.

Our plugin uses all of the WooCommerce provided shipping functions, there isn’t anything custom about how it works.

Actually, I tried disabling each and every plugin in my website (with woo commerce and payments gateways as exception), but didn’t solve.

That could have to do with how WooCommerce caches shipping methods.

Can you share the shipping plugin by creating a support ticket here? This will likely require us to review that plugin’s code.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @mrclayton

Thanks for answering. I’ve already sent an email through that form before creating this post, could you check if you received it?

The plugin, however, is WooCommerce Weight Based Shipping.

    Thank you

    Hi @mkexc,

I see that you received a reply to your request and support is waiting for a response from you.

I’ll share this plugin information and see if we can replicate. Are you able to provide what your settings are for the Weight Based Shipping plugin?

    Kind Regards

    Hi @mrclayton

I answered to the email, providing also the .zip of the plugin. Maybe try checking in Spam.

For what concerns the settings of the plugin, I created a shipping zone for Italy and assigned it to the plugin.

Then I created the following Shipping Rules:

For the rest of the world zone, which is EU only, I’ve assigned the UPS Live Tracking plugin, as said before. It fails even in those zones (i.e. France or Germany). But, let’s try to solve the Italy problem first, which is much more important right now.

    Thank you

    Hi @mkexc,

The Weight Based shipping plugin was tested using the configurations shown in your screenshot. The correct shipping methods loaded each time.

I’ve followed up via the support ticket so we can troubleshoot.

    Kind Regards,
