    Hello,

my website is connected to Stripe and it uses taxes. On the “WP Admin -> Downloads -> Settings -> Payments -> Stripe” page, next to the “Apple Pay/Google Pay” option, it’s written “This feature is not available when taxes are enabled”.

In the admin side I get the “Apple Pay domain verification error. Unable to copy domain association file to domain .well-known directory.” error notice; which is alright, that can be easily fixed by changing the .well-known folder’s permissions.

The question is: maybe EDD shouldn’t try to perform an Apple Pay domain verification on every “admin_init” when my website cannot use Apple Pay from Stripe?

    Hi there @silvadiego705

Can you please tell us what is your EDD version and if you also have the Stripe PRO extension what version that is at?

If you check under Downloads > Settings > Payments > Stripe at the bottom, you should have an option to change the integration method from Card Element( old way ) to Payment Element. The Payment Element method should work just fine with Taxes enabled as it’s using a different way to handle Apple/Google pay.

    Hello @misulicus,

thank you for the reply. That was very helpful. I’ll try changing the Stripe integration method and see how that works with Apple/Google pay.
