    Hello Support,

We are behind configuring Apple pay in the development environment. We understood that we need to register domain for the same. But my question is how we can test in a development environment. So suppose our site url is https://www.abcd.com and our development environment is something like https://abcd.wpengine.com. So how we can test Apple pay here? We need to register https://abcd.wpengine.com first and then after going live we need update https://www.abcd.com? Please advise.

Also can we test Apple pay like Google pay?

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

    Hi @shyamzin

For each WordPress site that you have the Stripe plugin installed, you should click the Register Domain button located on the Apple Pay Settings page. So you’ll need to perform that step on your development site and your production site.

You can test Apple Pay using “test” mode by using the Safari browser and a payment method saved in your Apple Wallet. The payment method won’t actually be charged in “test” mode.

    Kind Regards

    Hello Support,

“You can test Apple Pay using “test” mode by using the Safari browser” => means the stripe test mode, right? please confirm.

    Thanks.

Yes, that means Stripe test mode which you can enable in the Stripe plugin settings.

    Thanks

    Thanks Support.

Now the Apple pay button is showing in cart and checkout, but when clicking, nothing happens. What might be the reason? We checked using a safari browser in Mac. Kindly advise.

    Thanks again
