    Hello,

Apple pay is working just fine for me with woocommerce and stripe plugin.

I have a question, why is Apple pay not working with “custom” fields? I have added field together with field factory plugin and “normal” checkout with stripe works when customer pays with card then that added data is shown in order data but not when someone uses apple pay to pay with.
Will there be a update for the plugin to support custom fields as well?

    Hi there!

I believe another person had the as imilar question. Is that what you’re describing too?
You’re setting some custom fields on the order and those fields show up fine on the order if the customer uses Stripe or PayPal. However, if the customer uses Apple Pay, those fields do not show up on the order? Do I understand that correctly?

    Hi @jownas

I replied to the thread that Kristina linked but I’ll copy the response here.

Currently Apple Pay in our Stripe Payment Gateway extension doesn’t support custom fields.

You can open an issue for this on GitHub or add your idea to the Ideas Board, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

I’m going to mark this as resolved as this isn’t something that is possible currently – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
