Can you post the content from the text tab in the post editor via a pastebin.com link? I should be able to replicate on my end and tell you what the problem is that’s causing the empty text node to be created.

Yes, when you are on the Edit screen for the post, there are two tabs right above where you modify the content. One says “Visual” and one says “Text.” I need the “raw” content from the one that says “Text.”

There is a spot in the content you provided where you have a single   on a line by itself. Can you remove that and try again?

We have an open issue to address the root cause, which is that empty text nodes should never get added, but that should be a workaround for now.

Ok that is amazing. That one little thing was the entire issue. It works now.
