Apple iOS 15 upgrade for Trusona mobile app

    Dear Trusona Customer,

    Today, Apple is releasing iOS 15. Unfortunately, our internal testing has shown that there is a serious defect that effectively prevents the Trusona mobile app from working as expected.

    Our recommendation is to hold off on upgrading your iOS device to iOS 15 until we can resolve this defect. We are working diligently with Apple and we’ll notify you as soon as we have a fix.

    If you have already upgraded to iOS 15 and are experiencing this defect first-hand, please contact [email protected] ASAP for guidance.

    UPDATE – September 21, 21:30 UTC

    Trusona iOS mobile app version 4.5.1 is now available on Apple App store. We recommend that users upgrading to iOS 15 should update their Trusona app to 4.5.1 for compatibility reasons. We are working on and coordinating a permanent fix with Apple, but in the meantime have added a workaround to help catch and heal the iOS 15 issue in ver 4.5.1.

    In Trusona mobile app ver 4.5.1, you will see an option to “Reset Account” to self-heal, and re-register your email again, if/when you experience any issues.

    We have just released a critical update to the Trusona iOS mobile app. Version 4.5.2 fixes compatibility issues with iOS 15.
    Please update your Trusona app to v.4.5.2 on iOS to avoid any issues introduced as a result of updating to iOS 15.
    You can check the version of the iOS Trusona app by tapping on the user portrait in the upper right hand corner of the Trusona mobile app.
