Apperance Editor Missing

  • Hi there I have the problem of not being able to edit my PHP functions file in my child theme as the path:-
    Apperance – Editor has vanished! Well the Apperance is still there and I have Edit CSS but not just the Editor

    I have deactivated all plugins and tried a different theme but no joy.

    I am also not using a Networked blog…

    Any suggestions help most welcome thanks JP
