Appending the Job ID to the permalink slug

Hi @creatis,

I’m not actually able to duplicate this.

I used the permalink ID snippet from https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-changing-the-job-slugpermalink/#section-3

I created a new job on the front end. It generated the URL https://wpjm042020.local/job/myco-5-testing-permalink-slug-250/

I went to job dashboard and edited the job. I viewed the job again, and it has the same URL.

What steps are you taking to creating the duplicated ID effect?

I meant creating and editing a job (a couple of times) in the backend (wp-admin).

Hi @creatis ,

We don’t recommend doing that, for a number of reasons: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/adding-jobs-via-admin/ , not least of which is that it tends to lead to unexpected behavior.

What happens if you do this from the frontend form? If you’re still having trouble then, my next suspicion would be that there’s a theme or plugin conflict occurring.
