In the FAQ for configuring the subject, it says the following:

The subject the user types in the form will become the suffix. You can change this if you like.

However, it does not specify how, and I have not found any way to customize the suffix for the subject line. Basically, I want the subject line of received emails to be as follows:

    <site name> <form’s subject field> from <name from form “name” field>

I can easily customize the prefix to do this, but then the name will come before the form subject field, which is not what I want. How can I go about customizing the subject line suffix?

Hi, I think the area you have to configure is the following Enable confirmation email message. found under the Advanced tab. Then edit the Confirmation email subject:.

Confirmation email message is just for sending a confirmation email to the person who submits the form. I’m talking about the subject for the email that gets sent to the person receiving the form.

Yes that is correct. I will send a message to the developer.

However I am not sure you can customize it in the manner you refer to above.

    Hi gordon9012.

I too am looking at the FAQ section and have found the section you are referring to (https://www.fastsecurecontactform.com/configure-the-subject).

I can see that you can use [from_name] and [from_email], however as this document was written in 2011 I would like to think (hope) that any field name can be entered.

From the instructions on the page I would infer that to change the subject you would put:
“Whatever you wanted the prefix to be: [field-you-want-1] [field-you-want-2]”.

    Hope this helps.
