• Hello. This works pretty well with DeepL API and Polylang.
    Just a note that “Append to content” is not selectable but only “Replace content” is. Is it intended or a bug?

    It’s a trick question. Append to content was meant to manage multi lingual plugins that stores multiple versions of the same post in the same post_id . User cases are lacking and I never got beyond that.

    What would be your need for this ?

    Ah I see. Well here is 2 scenario (or one I guess)

    With Polylang you can sync a post as you know:

    Post title/content with Lang A <=> Post title content with Language B

    Appending instead of replacing could help on:

    a) Post edit of DeepL output (which is our case) inside the post rather than leaving WP editor to work on it.
    b) Simply to use the appended content as translated (not in the same post, to use by copying to translated post) and keeping the source text in language A post.

    It would be needed regardless of syncing for sure.
    Any php trick is needed to make it activiated?
