Appearance >> Widgets not expanding

No problems here using 3.2-RC1.

Ditto. I would bet that’s a plugin/theme conflict.

1) Manually re-upload the 3.2-RC1 files.

2) Turn off the plugins.

That’s actually a known incompatibility.
