My widgets have disappeared as well with the last update.

If I disable the plugin, my widgets appear normally.

This recently happened on one of my sites as well. The Appearance > Widgets page loads through the Analyticator plugin, then everything else, including the sidebars and footer, don’t load. And none of the JS works either (e.g. nothing happens when you click on “Screen Options”). Disabling the plugin puts the Appearance > Widgets page back to normal.

Yup. Me too. Widgets gone in backend. And screen button doesn’t work either.

Yup – another with the same issue. No widget editing available when Analyticator enabled.

No errors in Chrome Developer Console that I can see.

Obviously this is not widespread or they would have fixed it.

Maybe it’s two plugins conflicting. I’m running Genesis framework. Anybody have any of these plugins?

    Ajax Calendar
Allow PHP in Posts and Pages
    aMember
    BackupBuddy
    Contact Form 7
    Insert Headers and Footers
    Postie
    Sucuri
    Text Replace
    Widget Logic
    Wordpress HTTPS
    WP Clone
    WP S3 Backups

Actually, it is pretty widespread if you read through other issues posted here in the support forum. This issue came up 6 weeks ago when it was considered a conflict with Yoast SEO and is again being reported.

I’ve confirmed that the issue exists even when Analyticator is the ONLY plugin active on the site. It appears to have re-emerged as an issue after a recent WP update?

Can you deactivate all plugins except Analyticator and confirm whether you still see the broken Widget behaviour, Brian?

The Google Analyticator plugin is causing this for me. The dashboard widgets disappeared and I get this error on the plugin dashboard page

    Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Google_AuthException’ with message ‘Error refreshing the OAuth2 token, message: ‘{ “error” : “invalid_grant” }” in /home/reyburn/reyburnhouse.co.nz/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/auth/Google_OAuth2.php:288 Stack trace: #0 /home/reyburn/reyburnhouse.co.nz/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/auth/Google_OAuth2.php(248): Google_OAuth2->refreshTokenRequest(Array) #1 /home/reyburn/reyburnhouse.co.nz/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/auth/Google_OAuth2.php(225): Google_OAuth2->refreshToken(‘1/6YkMwLhkALXeQ…’) #2 /home/reyburn/reyburnhouse.co.nz/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/service/Google_ServiceResource.php(167): Google_OAuth2->sign(Object(Google_HttpRequest)) #3 /home/reyburn/reyburnhouse.co.nz/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/contrib/Google_AnalyticsService.php(1010): Google_ServiceResource->__call(‘list’, Array) #4 /home/reyburn in /home/reyburn/reyburnhouse.co.nz/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/auth/Google_OAuth2.php on line 288

I’ve also tested it with this plugin being the only plugin installed so it has to be this plugin causing the issue.

I’m seeing the same Google_AuthException message as wag2013.

Same. Unable to access widgets *or* anything in Customizer while this plugin is active. Disabling it returns everything to normal. Yikes!
