    Hello,

    Here is my issue:
When i pull up the appearance -> widgets page, I can see all of my available widgets along the left as usual and all the ones I have configured on the right, also as usual.
However when I click the expand arrow (any of them on the screen) the menus will not expand, therefore I cannot remove widgets, or edit their contents. I also cannot drag widgets around to create new ones.
I believe this may be due to the number of widgets I have showing and it may be bogging down in the browser memory- but thats just a guess.
I have used alot of “Featured Page Widgets”, which are all hidden in one widget drop down. But if anyone knows how to re-gain some control of my widget screen please let me know!

    Hey @mikepve,

The widget expansion relies on Javascript. In my experience, any time something in the admin that relies on Javascript stops working, it’s due to a Javascript error likely triggered by a plugin or theme conflict.

Try temporarily disabling all your plugins to see if this fixes the issue. If so, re-enable them one by one until the issue returns to find out which plugin is at fault.

    Hope that helps!

    Hey @karpstrucking,

Well thank you for your help, i have found the plugin responsible. Sadly that plugin is so widely used in my site i fear i might be hooped. I have written to the plugin creator for further help.

@mikepve In the meantime as a workaround, you can just disable the plugin when you need to edit other widgets, then re-enable it when you’re done editing.
