Appearance – Theme Options – New Layout

  • Dear Team,

    This is regarding “Appearance – Theme Options – New Layout”

    By mistake I have created one New Layout “media” and it is showing in the drop down on the same page but I observed that the top most navigation, home page formatting with sections like Portfolio, News, Media and Clients were removed and also top navigation formatting got changed.

    Requesting you to please suggest and help, how can I delete the “media” layout and go back to the original HOME page layout which was done 7 days back?

  • That sounds to me like some kind of theme-specific option other than what WordPress shows by default. So, try going to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize and re-assessing everything available there, then maybe also look at Dashboard > Appearance > Menus to do the same. If doing all of that does not get you anywhere, try activating a default theme such as Twenty Fourteen and looking in those same places again to see what is from WordPress and what might be different in your particular theme. Your theme might have over-written something within itself, but I would doubt it has made any changes to WordPress.
