Appearance Format Question

Hi!

I am so excited to have found this plugin – it’s everything I’ve been searching for, and I hope I’m able to use it on my website!! ??

I just set up my FAQ section according to the instruction manual (thank you!). The set-up process seemed to go as expected, but on the actual FAQ page (where I entered the shortcode), none of the appearance options are displayed.

When I load the page, the question and answer are both in the open position initially, in text form only. Then I am able to close and reopen them by clicking on the text. There is no color, arrow, or box/corners, and the width remains at 100% (ish) regardless of whether I select 50%, 75%, etc. The animation effects DO change when I adjust them in the settings, so it is just the appearance settings that my website is being stubborn with.

In case it helps with the ‘diagnosis’ (lol), I am using the GeneratePress theme with only a handful of plugins (all standard and reputable – contact form 7, yoast, updraft, etc.). No site builder. I try to keep things as simple and clean as possible.

Anyway, I apologize for the lengthy post here. I’m working on my local server, so hopefully I provided enough information that you might be able point me in a direction I may have overlooked.
