"Appearance" extremely slow, does not react to clicks

I have encountered this problem for a while now ??

For some reason, the “Appearance” feature in the WordPress dashboard is extremely slow. The dashboard itself is okay, but when I click on Appearance, it doesn’t really react to my clicks. I have been unable to change header image or typography (via plugin “Easy Google Fonts”) via the Appearance feature.

I don’t think it’s the plugin Easy Google Fonts because I’ve tried inactivate it to see whether the problem still occurs, and yes, it’s still there ??

Please help! What can I do?
