Appearance – Editor not updating. Please help.

  • Hello, I have contacted the hosting server (siteground). They have cleared the cache three times now and checked the proxy as well.

    I have cleared my browser cache, plugin cache as well. Cleared cache using w3 total cache plugin. I have deactivated all plugins and I tried again.

    I have also waited 3 days for my DNS to propagate.

    However, still any code changes I bring through Appearance – Editor does not work!

    I am very frustrated, I don’t know what else to do. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    Have you tried:
    – Troubleshooting with your browser: Your browser can help you identify JavaScript issues or conflicts and this article can assist you in doing that diagnosis. This could help identify Visual Editor issues as well.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
