Apparent Problem with Header

I’ve gone through all the steps to set up word press on the server. And everything has gone swimmingly. Until I reached the step where I open the wp-admin/install.php in my browser. When I did that I received the message:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/m/a/r/mark0917/html/centralfloridaschnauzer/wp-config.php:1) in /home/content/m/a/r/mark0917/html/centralfloridaschnauzer/wp-admin/install.php on line 36

I am sure that the fault is all mine. But if someone could direct me as to the best way to correct this problem, I would genuinely appreciate your help with this!
