    Hi,

I recently noticed a weird text displaying on practically every page of my website. It looks like it could be a WooCommerce PHP comment, but I’m not sure. How can I remove this weird text?

    WordPress 6.5.2, WooCommerce 8.7.0, Divi 4.24.3

    Thank you.

  • Definitely looks like a comment that’s been mistyped!

I don’t think WooCommerce has a built in way of autocompleting all orders, so is there a plugin installed that does this? Or a custom code snippet in your functions.php?

I confirm this comment is not present on the WooCommerce codebase, and probably comes from another installed plugin. Maybe this one? Can you deactivate plugins one by one and check which one is responsible?

    Hi all,

Thank you for prompt responses. Based on your answers, I went on a plugin deep dive in an attempt to track this down. It turns out that a code snippet that is injected using the plugin Header Footer Code Manager was erroneous.

So no plugin is to blame—it’s a user error.

    Thank you.

    Hi there @vwzy6cgt,

We appreciate your effort in troubleshooting the issue you’ve been experiencing.

It’s great to hear that you’ve identified the issue to be an erroneous code snippet injected via the Header Footer Code Manager plugin. User errors can sometimes be the hardest to spot, so well done on tracking this down!

If you need any further assistance or have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. In the meantime, I’ll now mark this thread as solved.

    All the best.
