Apparent conflict with Elementor

I had trouble using this plugin with Elementor pages that I converted to posts. After I converted the pages to posts, I was able to view the posts, but when I tried to edit the posts with Elementor, I got an error message saying that “Sorry, the content area was not found on your page. You must call ‘the_content’ function…”.

It was a bit of a mess. I ended up creating entirely new posts, copying the content from the old posts, and deleting the old posts.

Has anyone else had this problem with Elementor? (Or success with Elementor?) Right now, I’d say beware using this plug-in with Elementor.
