Or rather something like the second slide here: https://smartslider3.com/product-showcase-page-mobile-app/ ? That you have a phone with the image and beside there’s some text, I suggest uploading the images that are already inside the phone and then just upload a different image to each slide.

You could create one slide first, then duplicate it: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/444-interface-slide-configuration-area#duplicate
and change the image & texts.

Or if you would like to just change the “in screen” images, similarly to the small images appearing next to the phone, you could use events and layer animations: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/category/1422-events

For the showcase type and events suggestion, you will need to have the Pro version.
If you just want the image and some text next to it and it’s fine for you to have the different images and texts on separate slides, that can be done with the free version as well.

A combination of those.

I want to change the “in screen” images. I may have two phones to show, so two sets of images. I may want to show the “off screen” images with lower opacity of an opacity gradient.

Are the settings for the featured slider (like https://smartslider3.com/product-showcase-page-mobile-app/) available somewhere so that I can see how it was built? I also would prefer a click event instead of hover (hover is not really supported on mobile devices).

All sample sliders can be downloaded like this: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1143-add-sample-slider#pro

Our hover events are automatically replaced by the “tap” event on mobile, so you don’t have to worry about that.

Unfortunately, I can’t think of any easy way to combine the Showcase slider example with the Photo app slider’s, so you’ll probably need to make compromises there.
