My app was metadata rejected from ios with the following message:

    Guideline 4.1 – Design – Copycats

Your app or its metadata still appears to contain misleading content.

Specifically, your app includes content that resembles Yards Per Fantasy.

    Next Steps

You may attach documentary evidence in the App Review Information section in App Store Connect evidencing that you as a developer have all necessary rights or permissions to the content.

When I asked for a follow up/clarification they said:

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

Regarding 4.1, we continue to require documentary evidence evidencing that you as a developer have all necessary rights or permissions to the content.

To resolve this issue, it would be appropriate to attach such documentary evidence in the App Review Information section in App Store Connect.

We look forward to reviewing your resubmitted app.

I believe they’re saying my app resembles my website? (YardsPerFantasy.com)

Has anyone encountered this? How do I proceed? I’m brand new to all this so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi

that’s usually because there is an another app with the same content.
“Specifically, your app includes content that resembles Yards Per Fantasy.”.

You should directly ask Apple on the “resolution center” on the app store website as this is a review question ; )

Ah okay! I have tried asking them to be more specific but they weren’t very helpful lol

But I had noticed on the WPMOBILE.APP site, it was showing I had two of the same app, I deleted one. perhaps that was the issue.

    Thank you
