App icon and splash not working

    Hi,

    I am having the same issue here, including the splash screen, does not show up.

    I set the application icon as per your recommendation (png 192×192) but on my android keeps on coming out as WordPress default Icon.

    Same with the splashscreen; ain’t showing.

    Hi, It is a valid issue. Regarding this, We have raised the GitHub ticket in our repository. We will work on it and fix the issue in our coming updates and once it gets fixed then we will get back to you with an update.

    Hi, Sorry for the delayed reply. We communicated with our senior lead developer, and what happened was that Google recently updated the PWA. All users using PWA are facing this problem, and official Google does not make any option for specific icons. We make that feature in our plugin. But with the recently updated PWA, both icons are considered the same, and the same icons appear in PWA. If it is possible in the future then we will implement it.
