Apostrophe’s in comments and 1.2

add_filter('comment_text', 'stripslashes');

wp-comments is where i put the following.
<?php add_filter('comment_text', 'stripslashes'); ?>

Anyway, thanks, Charle97, I’ll do that. For some reason, I thought the add_filter functions could only be used in plugins.

i think matt was doing something to the db and killed a few of the more recent posts.

when i put that code in place of comment_text my comments disappeared completely… where in wp-comments should i put it ? (sorry am stupid)
