Apostrophe & single quote marks become when imported from export

  • In the live source WP admin it is = Hollywood’s (ok)
    in the raw exported sql they are like this = Hollywood\’s (escaped)
    Local db with imported data = Hollywood<?>s (diamond character with ? inside)

    Coding on table is utf8 (on live and local database).

    Any ideas?

    Same exact problem here. Tables are identical in structure, still special characters are not displayed properly (diamond with ?).

    Any news on this?
