• Hi there,

I’m having an issue with WordPress’s post category. I created a category called Mother’s day set menu. Tagged to it are some tags which will then open up a pdf file when user submits the form.

I realised that the apostrophe (Mother’s) is causing the whole feature to malfunction. It worked well when I removed the ‘ sign and renamed it as Mothers day set menu.
I’ve also realised that this might be a default WordPress issue. Is there a fix for it?

If you scroll down to ‘our set menu’ section, you will see two dropdowns (number of pax and menu preference). if you select ‘3-4’ for the first dropdown and ‘mother’s day set menu’ for the second, it should open a pdf but as mentioned the system is showing an error because of the apostrophe.

  • Maybe try escaping the character. So when you write in the field: “Mother’s day set menu” try typing this instead: “Mother\’s day set menu”.

If that does not work can you please note what you’re using the generate that form, as it might have something to do with the form, as opposed to the category name.

    Let us know.
