apostrophe and single quote problem

  • I have a French site where WordPress is using an apostrophe in the page and/or post titles, but is using an single quote when that same page or post is added to a menu.

    Example: artsnb.ca

    The same title in the side menu is using a single quote instead of an apostrophe and this is messing up my “active” state on the side menu.

    If anybody could point me in the direction of fixing this it would be much appreciated.
