apostrophe adds code to site title

website: bullwinklesyellowstone.com. HostGator Hosting. WordPress 4.2.3…I need to add an apostrophe to the website title, it should read “Bullwinkle’s” with an apostrophe. When I add the apostrophe and save, it’s replaced with code. When attempting to add via Settings>General>SiteTitle, the site title changes to: BULLWINKLE&#O39;S. When attempting via Appearance>Customize>SiteTitle, adding an apostrophe changes the title to: BULLWINKLE&8217;S. A resolution would be most appreciated, thank you!
