ApiNotActivatedMapError even though Google Maps API is enabled

Strange error when I try to input anything in the search location input fields. I get the ‘This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.’ error even though Google Maps API is enabled. If I select a location from the right, it does load. It also respects my default location as well. I have Remove Other Maps Scripts checked, and the problem persists. I also deactivated other plugins. So why is this still happening? Did I set up the Maps APi incorrectly?
